Date of Availability of Prospectus and Online Application Form for PU-MET 2017 on the Website: January 13, 2017 (Friday) 

Steps to follow before apply:
1. Read Prospectus carefully.
2. Register online. (Last date for registration: February 23, 2017)
3. Note down your login ID and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email ID also)
4. Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login ID and password)
5. Deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip. (last date for submission of fee in any SBI branch: February 27, 2017, Monday).
6. Login again after 24 hours of depositing fee and upload scanned photograph, signature, fill other important information. Complete each section (Profile, Categories, Academic Qualification) carefully and lock each section. (Once you lock the section, you will not be allowed to change information in that section). (Last date for completion of form: March 03, 2017, Friday)
7. Take print out of the application form and submit/send it along with the required documents (if any) to the address mentioned on the print out of the application form. (Last date for submission of hard copy of application form & documents: March 09, 2017 upto 4.00 p.m.)
8. Download your Admit card after March 09, 2017 (Monday)

Entrance Test Fee:
General Category: Rs.2100/-
SC/ST/PwD Category: Rs.1050/-

Date of Holding Entrance Test: March 11, 2017 (Saturday)

Admission to MBA (sectoral) programmes for the session 2017-18

UIAMS is offering MBA (sectoral) programmes in six sectors i.e.
1. MBA (Retail Management),
2. MBA (Banking & Insurance Management),
3. MBA (IT & Telecommunication Management),
4. MBA (Infrastructural Management),
5. MBA (Pharmaceutical Management),
6. MBA (Hospital Management)

For admission to above MBA (sectoral) programmes, UIAMS is conducting Management Entrance Test (MET) every year in the month of March. For this process, candidate have to register himself/ herself online on MET website https://met.puchd.ac.in to complete the registration process in due dates.

The MET website may open on 15th December 2016 for admission to MBA (sectoral) programmes.

The candidate must read the important dates and other instructions on MET website while registration for MET test.

SCHEME OF TEST

The Entrance Test will carry 85% weightage and be of 2 hours duration. It will consist of multiple-choice questions having four responses A, B, C & D. The components of the test will include: (i) General Knowledge; (ii) Economics and Business Environment Awareness; (iii) Data interpretation and problem solving; (iv) Numerical Ability; (v) Verbal Ability/Reasoning and (vi) English Comprehension.

Merit List

The admission will be ade on the basis of the Entrance Test (85% weightage), Group Discussion (7.5% weightage) and Personal Interview (7.5% weightage). The result of the Entrance Test will not be sent to the candidates. The comprehsenive result after the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be notified on the UIAMS notice board as well as the UIAMS website https://uiams.puchd.ac.in
